Calmer families start with understanding.
I support parents and caregivers of neurodivergent kids—so family life can feel less overwhelming and more connected.
You don’t need to have a plan mapped out. You just need a place to start - and I am here to walk alongside you.
What is Parent Coaching?
A safe space for you to talk things through, without judgement. In-person in Wellington, Lower Hutt or online.
We look at what’s happening in your family right now—what’s feeling hard, what’s not working, and what might help. We find strengths, offer knowledge, and build from there, through a series of sessions.
If you are feeling frustrated, strung out, or just plain stuck, that’s OK. You don’t need to come with the “right” words or a clear picture.
We figure it out together.
What can you expect?
Parents working with me feel more confident in parenting their unique child, begin to see their child more settled and in control, and find that their family becomes more connected, respectful, and hopeful.
What I help with

Because when kids feel understood, things tend to shift.
The ADHD paradox
Why your child can do something one day, or in one setting… and not another.
Working to strengths
Looking for what is working—and building from there.
Putting your wellbeing back in the picture
Executive function (the “doing life” skills)
When getting started, staying on track, or finishing things feels like a constant battle.

What is ADHD Parent Coaching all about?
-
Parents often ask this. Commonly, our kids don’t know why they react a certain way, why they get overwhelmed, why things are harder for them than others - or what to do about big emotions. The more we as parents understand them, the better we are at supporting them to be the best version of themselves. By creating an environment where they feel safe, accepted and connected, we help our kids thrive. Coaching parents empowers you to lead the way.
Sometimes your Coaching works well alongside your child also receiving support from outside ADHD Support. We are happy to chat about this with you.

First off, I listen, then I listen some more. Then together, we:
explore any useful neurodiversity info you might be missing.
unpack behaviour and what’s sitting underneath it
look at your child’s strengths and how these can support their everyday challenges
explore practical tools and approaches
look at how to reduce overwhelm (for everyone)
find ways to strengthen connection with your child
focus on small, realistic changes
But I never stop listening :)

Firstly, you have a 20min free chat to explore whether coaching feels right for you.
Then you can look at which Coaching package fits your needs.
You receive a form and an invoice and we book you in, ready to begin your life-changing sessions.

I’m sure you have been noticing some traits in your child that seem neurodivergent and that’s why you are here. You are welcome! While you might be working your way towards a diagnosis, the same parent support applies. Parenting your unique child starts with where ever they are at.
My Story
Parenting a Neurodivergent child can be one of the hardest things you do; it can also be incredibly rewarding when you do it in a way that aligns with how you would love to bring up your precious kiddo. It certainly isn’t straightforward.
As a Mum of a child with Neurodiversity, I get it. The challenges, push back, overwhelm, anxieties, bad sleep, executive function frustrations, and their excited hyperfocus at 10pm at night! LOL
So after our child ended up with a Chronic condition of the autonomic nervous system, I took my experience, deep diving research and added formal training through NZ and overseas, to form ADHD Support.
I know what it feels like to be stuck in an overburdened system and not know where to turn. I am here to support parents in gaining perspective, clarity, and understanding - building calmer, more connected families. I am so grateful for this opportunity!
Some of the greatest rewards I get are helping parents understand their child's brain, mood swings, overwhelm, intense emotions and impulsivity (to name a few). Empowering parents to feel they have tools and strategies in these moments and to find a calmer way, one that acknowledges the uniqueness of their child’s strengths and deepens connections within the whole family. I’m excited to share this with you, too.
